Did you know that water polo is an entirely player-funded club sport in Central Oregon? Because we are not currently an OSAA-sanctioned sport, we receive zero financial support from the school district.

There is no inherent reason for water polo to cost more than any other high school sport—except for the funding gap. While traditional school-funded sports cost a family around $100, our athletes must pay $1,100 out of pocket to cover essential costs like local pool lane rentals, lifeguards, tournament fees, etc.

Our 30 high school players from Bend High, Caldera, and surrounding local schools are working hard to bridge this gap. 100% of the money raised here stays in Bend to directly lower those family dues, ensuring this fantastic sport remains accessible to every local kid who wants to play!
